You know… I had never been to Brushy Creek park until this morning. What a cute place! Luckily it hasn't been excessively hot here in Austin this summer, but the nice breeze off of the lake made it all the better. D and her son were SO sweet and fun to work with.

I’ve been feeling the WEIGHT of everything lately. And I don’t think I’m the only one. A perfect golden evening in the park with this amazing couple was just the ticket to get me out of my head and back into my creativity. They were absolutely amazing to work with and I hope to again in the future.

This morning we got to play outside at the park before the sun got too high in the sky. What a fun session! And although I was not the BEST at keeping up with this little powerhouse, I had a ton of fun chasing him around and getting some very sweet shots of him in action.

Austin Family Photographer--A cool summer morning!
This weekend we had some nice rain. Which is unusual in the Texas summer. But it “cooled things off” a bit and we had a fantastic session. We managed to get it all done before it became too steamy and hot outside. Morning sessions and morning light with morning people….. it doesn’t get much more fun than that!

I made the short drive down to Buda this morning to take some photos of this little cutie before his 3rd birthday! Downtown Buda is so very cute and I was glad to be able to spend a morning walking around the quiet little Main Street this morning.
