Madeleine and Benny got married in the sweetest little ceremony back in October of 2020. And now that everyone is vaccinated it was time for them to celebrate with the rest of their family and loved ones! What a treat it is to get to visit with past clients and see how they’re doing as we gradually emerge from quarantine brain. This little party was just as cute and pretty as their wedding was and I was so grateful to be able to be there.

We were a little bit worried that the rain would get us during this session. But it turned out perfectly!
Diana graduated from UT with her MBA this past week and I was SO honored that she wanted me to help her commemorate the moment. I had met her and her wife a few months ago for a family portrait session and they circled back around for some graduation photos. The champagne pop may not have gone according to plan, but this whole session turned out exactly how we were all hoping it would.

Sometime last week I was asked to photograph this lovely couple’s Welcome Party. It was an opener to their wedding weekend and I am so grateful to have been there. Malverde is the event space at La Condessa in the 2nd Street District of Austin. What an amazing venue and what a wonderful group of people. The air before a wedding always feels so electric. So much love and hope for the future and I just cannot get enough of it!

Austin Event Photographer: atxGALS Summer Art Party
I had the pleasure of joining the atxGALS last night at TOMS on South Congress for their Summer Art Party! atxGALS is a group of women on a mission to empower local female artists and give them a platform to stand on (all while also supporting local non-profits that are aimed at promoting women’s rights and women’s equality). They’re a pretty amazing organization and I was blown away to be invited to attend. Not to mention— they also throw a pretty killer party.
The featured artists at last night’s event were Neena Buxani , Abby Ruston , Allie Eileen , Ella Nilsson , Kristin Moore , Monica Ceniceros , and Whitney Avra . I am floored by these ladies and their talents. All of the heart eyes forever and ever and ever and ever!!!
